At LWS, we are continuously developing our curriculum to meet the needs of all students through academics and social-emotional learning. Our core curriculum is based on our own esteemed National Curriculum of Nepal. In addition to that, we will be accommodating the 21st-century demand teaching/learning approach with state-of-the-art educational tools and human resources that are available at the national and international levels. We have adopted widely accepted internationally student-centered approaches of Teaching- Learning Practices based on the inquiry-based 5E model which will help the students to integrate their learning in a world-class approach. We stand on the following teaching methodologies:Lessons are made more exciting and engaging through field trips, outdoor sessions, and workshops to help a child to achieve their full potential.Students are placed into different groups based on their intrinsic potential and interest and a wide range of ECAs are offered.English literature classes are taught by native-like English speakers for grades 4 to 10.Unconventional Home Learning Activities are designed to foster parent-child quality time at home as well as to promote children’s effective participation in their study.TFW (talk for writing), a recently developed interactive way of teaching English literature is introduced and practiced in the English language classes.The EAL (English as an Additional Language) team works rigorously in grades 1, 2 and 3 to ensure a strong foundation in the English Language.Each class will have a full-time teacher and teaching assistant throughout the lesson.A wide range of indoor and outdoor resources are used as a teaching aid to facilitate every student’s need in each lesson.Teaching materials are not necessarily directly taught from the textbooks. A variety of resource materials will be used to cover all the aspects of the lesson. Each lesson is prepared such a way that inculcates inquiry-based learning followed by rubrics for each topic.Grade Teaching Practice in grades 1, 2 and 3; i.e., Core subjects are taught by a single specialised teacher.

You can fill in the registration form and submit it during your visit.Orientation Session: After submitting the registration form, you will be invited to an orientation session conducted by the School Academic Leadership Team (SALT).Baseline Assessment and Interview: Following the orientation, your child will undergo a baseline assessment and interview focusing on core subjects such as English, Maths, Science, and Nepali.Confirmation and Document Submission: Upon receiving a confirmation email from our admission team, kindly visit the school with the following documents:Recent passport-size photos (3 copies)Birth Certificate (2 copies)Marksheet of the last examination attendedImmunization CardStudent’s passport with a valid visa for international students (2 copies)Note: The security deposit is refundable only if your child completes the current academic year with LWS.
