Today, we are commemorating the National Democracy Day in Nepal. On this very day, Nepal welcomed democracy for the first time in 2007 BS, which was a result of a revolution and sacrifice of thousands of Nepalese people.

This was a political movement against the tyrannical rulers that eventually resulted in the end of the 104-year-long autocratic rule in the country.

Let’s celebrate this Democracy day that marked the awakening of the democratic movements in Nepal.
