Lumbini World School (LWS) organised Annual Mega Health Camp on 3rd Poush which commensurately provided three crucial services: eye services, dental check-ups and physical examinations to the students from pre-school to grade nine, teaching and non-teaching staff in order to ensure they are physically robust and safe from any sorts of unprecedented health complications. The camp was organised in partnership with two acclaimed health institutions of Rupandehi district: Universal College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) and Lumbini Eye Institute & Research Centre (LEIRC), Bhairahawa. 

Three different teams- paediatricians, paediatric dentists and optometrists- thoroughly examined the health conditions of the pupils and school staff members.

The LEIRC team of eye specialists made significant contributions to comprehensive visual screening & cataracts test and provided insights into primary care for the eyes to our students during the annual health camp whereas the UCMS teams of doctors rendered the beneficiaries comprehensive paediatric services, advocacy of child health concerns and developmental milestones. The needy students received insightful medical counselling by the counselling experts.  

All the students will be given a comprehensive report encompassing all the examination details. 

We anticipate that the organisational camaraderie with these health service providers will be stronger, friendlier and more august in the days to come. 

The school honoured the health professionals with certificates of appreciation.
