The teaching team of Lumbini World School (LWS) attended a one-day seminar on “Childcare Nutrition Basics for Pre-school Age Kids and Infants" facilitated by Ms. Anamika Bashyal, a certified childcare nutritionist and clinical nutritionist of Aakar Poshan Tatha Paramarsha Kendra, held in Bhairahawa on 21st Chaitra 2078.

The facilitator commenced the session with the explanation of nutrition and benefits of nutrient-rich food which enable children to live a healthy life. The session turned out to be crucial and purposeful since the participating teachers realised how important it is to encourage their students to consume hygienic and nutritious food every day. During the seminar, it was also brought to the limelight that it’s essential for understanding the significant role of nutritious and balanced diet to ensure holistic development of every child.

The session ended with a thank-you note from each teacher to the facilitator for organising such an informative seminar.

LWS believes that each child should acquire appealing education along with nutrient-rich food, which is crucial for them to be agile academically, mentally and socially.
