As part of their local curriculum on heritage studies, Grade 4 and 5 students enjoyed an educational yet fun-filled outing to Jitgadhi and Manimukunda Sen Park (Fulbari) on Wednesday, 12th Mangsir, 2081.
At Jitgadhi, students explored the historic fort built by the Sen dynasty and learned about Nepalโs victory during the Anglo-Nepalese War (1814โ1816). They visited the war museum, saw the statue of Colonel Ujir Singh Thapa, and connected with Nepalโs proud history.
At Manimukunda Sen Park, also known as Fulbari, students admired the remains of a 1575 B.S. palace, took in the stunning views of Butwal from the Chure Hills, and explored the zoo inside the park. They balanced learning with fun as they played, observed wildlife, and enjoyed the park's serene environment. The outing was a perfect blend of education, exploration, and excitement, leaving the students with valuable knowledge and joyful memories.
