Lumbini World School (LWS) proudly celebrated Bhanu Jayanti on 28th Ashadh 2081, honouring the legacy of Adhikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya. The event was hosted by Master Eric Jung Rawal and Master Abhinav Narayan Shrestha, both from Grade 9.
The programme commenced with a soulful recitation of the Ramayan by Master Anirudh Khanal of Grade 6, captivating the audience with his eloquence. Students showcased their artistic talents, presenting beautiful paintings of Bhanu Bhakta Acharya that reflected their admiration and respect for the revered poet.
A series of performances followed, with students reciting poems and sharing insights into the biography of Adhikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya. Their presentations highlighted the profound impact of Bhanubhakta's literary contributions on Nepali culture and language.
The event was organised by the dedicated Nepali Language Team, whose efforts ensured a memorable celebration that connected students with the learning and philosophy of the school. Lumbini World School remains committed to fostering a deep appreciation for cultural heritage and literary excellence among its students.
