Students from grades 1 to 4 of Lumbini World School recently embarked on an educational excursion combined with a fun picnic, enriching their learning experience beyond the classroom walls.
The day began with a visit to the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (IAAS), Paklihawa where the young minds had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into various agricultural practices. The students were exposed to different techniques of farming, animal husbandry, fishery, horticulture, and more, sparking their curiosity about the world around them.
Following the enlightening visit to IAAS, the students headed to Darkhasawa Park, Bhairahawa where they were treated to a relaxing picnic program. The park's serene environment provided the perfect setting for the students to unwind, socialise, and share their newfound knowledge with their peers.
This unique combination of education and recreation proved to be a valuable learning experience for the students of Lumbini World School. The excursion not only broadened their understanding of various agricultural practices but also fostered a sense of appreciation for the natural world and the importance of sustainable living.
