During the celebration of Environment Conservation Week, students of grade three from Lumbini World School embarked on an educational visit to Kushal Mangal Nursery, located in Tilottama-7, Rupandehi. This visit provided a wonderful opportunity for the young learners to deepen their understanding of various plant species and the techniques required to cultivate them in different conditions.
The students were guided through the nursery by knowledgeable staff, who shared insights about plant care, growth cycles, and the importance of plants in maintaining ecological balance. The hands-on experience allowed the students to engage directly with the plants, fostering a greater appreciation for nature and the role of plants in our environment.
As a token of appreciation, Kushal Mangal Nursery generously provided the students with a selection of plants. These plants were later planted in the school garden by members of the LWS Eco Club, further enriching the school's green spaces and reinforcing the lessons learned during the visit.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kushal Mangal Nursery for their hospitality and the beautiful plants. This experience has not only enhanced our students' knowledge but also contributed to our school's ongoing commitment to environmental conservation.
Regards,
LWS
