Lumbini World School wrapped up its Environment Conservation Week on 29th Jestha, 2081, commemorating World Environment Day with fervor and dedication. The day witnessed a multitude of activities showcasing the students' commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability.
The event kicked off with impassioned speeches by students from grades 1 to 10, emphasising the significance of preserving our planet and advocating for eco-friendly practices. Poignant poems related to the environment were recited, reflecting the students' deep-rooted concern for nature.
A captivating Grade 3 English Drama Performance brought environmental narratives to the stage, captivating the audience with its thematic essence. The Art Exhibition displayed an array of eco-conscious artworks, illustrating the students' artistic prowess intertwined with environmental messages.
A special moment of appreciation was reserved for the school gardener, acknowledged for their pivotal role in maintaining the school's verdant spaces. The presentation of a token of gratitude symbolized the school's recognition of their efforts.
Students from grades 8 and 9 astounded everyone with their innovative projects crafted from waste materials, showcasing the power of creativity in sustainability. Grade VII students shared their ongoing environmental initiatives, highlighting their proactive stance towards creating a greener tomorrow.
