We advocate progressive education which ensures students should acquire education in terms of their abilities and inherent talents and they should not be limited to only activity-based pedagogies. So, the school held a cookery class for students to expose their cooking finesse. They were really exhilarated to become amateur chefs during such class.
5. ECO CLUB ACTIVITY:
What if the education that consolidates agricultural practice is introduced to our students giving them all modern tips and techniques? Will students feel as if they were peasants and the food they ate in the cafeteria came through the same process?
LWS held a class on Friday to instill in the minds of students that sowing seeds, plantation, watering, fertilization etc. are part of growing vegetables, fruits and crop harvest.
6. A RANGE OF ECAs AND EXTENSION OF LEARNING (EOL):
At LWS, Fridays’ classes incorporate extra-curricular activities in which students can participate in a range of club-based events, such as Literature Club, Innovation and Design Club, Maths Club, Science Club, Drama Club, Calligraphy Club, Spelling-bee Club, Dance Club, Music Club, Eco Club, IT club, STEAM Club, Art Club apart from student support sessions like problem-solving in Maths, Science, Nepali, English etc. and expanding the horizon of knowledge of students who have high potentialities.
