Lumbini World School (LWS) has successfully concluded the Week Four with a wide range of curricular, cocurricular and extra-curricular activities.
The school distributed the ‘Karkhana Toolkit’ to each student from Grades 1-8 in order to make curriculum-based learning fun and practical. Our students will learn different science, IT, Engineering, English, and Maths concepts by doing with their hands since LWS believes in its progressive education model: Learning by doing.
The students participated in various intra-school events, such as speech competition on World Environment Day, class-based declamations, role play, essay writing competitions.
Students are guided every day with Extension of Learning (EOL) classes in order to strengthen their knowledgeability of each subject they are perusing.
Extra-curricular activities, such as futsal, carrom, chess, table tennis, basketball, swimming, taekwondo, dance, music etc. are supplementary strengths to their everyday learning endeavours which they participated in last week as well.
On Fridays, the school organises an array of extra-curricular activities. So, the students witnessed exciting events this Friday as well. Formation of Board of Directors of Literature Clubs, student participation in cookery class, ECO Club, STEAM Club for experiment and innovations, Art Club, IT Club, Drama/Role Play Club etc. fired the enthusiasm of students further to participate in supplementary activities that surely give them momentum to relish their diligence.
As curricular activities, the students were engaged in activity-based learning which helped them excel in their curriculum-based subjects.

LWS
