Lumbini World School (LWS), recognised as an activity-based learning centre, leaves no stones unturned to help students acquire phenomenal learning experience.
On 28th Kartik, the school took the pupils of Grades 4, 5, & 6 to Sagun Food factory in Madhawaliya where lollipops and candies are manufactured. The students observed each process of sweets manufacturing and learnt how they’re made and supplied to the market. This visit focused on expanding the horizon of knowledge of the students in the following ways:
• Language English: Use of Present Simple Tense, Future Simple Tense and Past Simple Tense (to describe what actually was done before manufacturing). Also students used present simple tense to describe the manufacturing processes in the worksheet.
• Language Nepali: भविष्यत काल, पूर्ण भूत काल
• Science: Science involved in candy making process
• Mathematics: Unitary method, multiplication and division
• Social Studies: Economic activities
The school is planning to organise more visits to various places to help students gain in-depth knowledge of things that directly make lasting impacts on them.

LWS
