Lumbini World School (LWS) organised a four-day ‘Annual Educational Fest-2080’ from 24th to 27th Poush incorporating a range of scholastic events, such as STEM Quiz, Extempore Speech, Declamation, Debate, Sudoku, Crossword Puzzle, Spelling Bee, Persuasive Writing in English and Nepali languages for the students from Grade 6 to 9 in order to expose their critical thinking, creative writing, communication and collaboration abilities.

The students showed their utmost talents and efforts to embrace phenomenal winnings. Heartiest congratulations to the winning teams!

On Friday, 27th Poush, the school organised an exhibition of innovative teaching and learning tools, and resources that are prepared for active teaching-learning beyond the textbooks. The students from grades 1 to 4 showcased the real processes of knowledge construction and acquisition which they practise at LWS every day. In addition, a workshop on ‘Construction of knowledge among the students and creation of teaching-learning resources’ was organised for visiting teaching teams from various schools. The purpose of the workshop was to share teaching and learning ideas for the assurance of an engaging class and effective outcome of our teaching endeavours. More than 13 schools visited the exhibition and participated in the workshop.

The Annual Educational Fest offered a unique framework for a range of teaching approaches to student-engaging classes and purposeful learning outcomes.
