Training accelerates teaching professionalism as exercise invigorates a physique.

Lumbini World School (LWS) conducted a three-day training session for the teachers from PG to Grade Nine from 23rd-25th Jestha 2080.

The three-day training focused on activity-based teaching and learning, applying concept while facilitating students, acknowledging multiple intelligence and dealing with it wisely, prioritising differentiated learning, student reward policy, students’ disciplinary policy, strategy for activating students’ stagnant minds with exciting and fun-filled academic games and teaching resources.

The faculty heads and teachers shared their teaching experience and demonstrated their best classroom teaching and learning practices. The appraisal and feedback was given for the best performance which can be a milestone in students’ learning endeavours in the days to come.

Since a peaceful mind is a must for an effective teacher, a morning session was dedicated to all the teaching team who participated in a yoga session that energised their mindset to remain activated throughout the day.

A session was also held for an orientation to teaching team on Monthly Evaluation for Learning and Final Evaluation of Learning (Term-based evaluation).

The School Academic Leadership Team (SALT) members facilitated the sessions.
