In a seamless blend of professional development and environmental stewardship, Lumbini World School (LWS), in collaboration with the Tzu Chi Foundation, hosted a transformative event on Thursday, 6th Mangsir 2081. The day was devoted to empowering educators and inspiring students towards a more sustainable future.
For fourth graders, the second session of the Environmental Protection Series, led by Tzu Chi volunteers, centred on Water Pollution. The students engaged in interactive, hands-on activities, embracing the ethos of learning by doing.
For teachers, the sessions, guided by Tzu Chi leaders, offered invaluable insights. The first focused on Counselling and Guidance, addressing the crucial needs of students, particularly those in grades 8-10. The second explored how teachers can actively contribute to environmental protection, fostering awareness and sustainable practices both within and beyond the classroom.
The event underscored LWS’s unwavering commitment to cultivating knowledge, compassion, and responsibility among its staff and pupils, with invaluable support from the Tzu Chi Foundation.
