On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, students at Lumbini World School came together to organise a heartfelt Teachers' Day Special Programme on Sunday, 6th Shrawan, 2081 dedicated to expressing their gratitude and respect for their teachers. The event, meticulously managed by the students of Grade Nine, showcased the unity and collaborative spirit of the entire student body.
The programme, hosted by Master Himanshu Chhetri and Miss Priyanshi Joshi of Grade Nine, featured a variety of performances, including speeches, poems, songs, and dances, all themed around Guru Purnima. Each performance was a testament to the students' deep appreciation and respect for their teachers, highlighting the pivotal role that educators play in shaping young minds.
In addition to the cultural performances, students organised different games and sports for the teachers, adding a fun and engaging element to the celebration. These activities brought joy and laughter, strengthening the bond between students and teachers through friendly competition and camaraderie.
Throughout the event, students eloquently expressed their admiration and gratitude, marking the importance of teachers in their lives. In addition to the student-led performances, the school took the opportunity to felicitate all teaching and administrative staff members. Each staff member was presented with a token of love as a symbol of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
