Lumbini World School proudly hosted a highly successful Professional Development Training (PDT) for its teaching faculty. The event, held on Sunday, brought together distinguished experts to share their insights and expertise, furthering the school’s commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in education.
The training sessions covered a range of critical topics. Dr. Raju Kaphle, Professor at UCMSTH (TU) and Senior Consultant Paediatrician, along with Ms. Anisha Bashyal, Parent Child Trainer for Children with Special Needs, led an enlightening session on "Inclusive Education in Progressive Schools." Dr. Kafle also conducted a session on "Food as Medicine and Promoting Healthy Eating in Children."
Dr. Yogendra Agrahari, Orthopedist and a parent of LWS, provided valuable perspectives in his session, "Expectations of Parents from the School’s Teaching Team." Ms. Prisima Thapa Chhetri, Child Psychologist and Faculty at KU School of Education, delivered an impactful online session on the "Assessment of Child Development at School."
The training concluded with a productive team meeting, allowing the school’s faculty to discuss and reflect on the day’s learnings.
