While the students of Lumbini World School enjoyed their summer break, our dedicated teachers engaged in various training sessions and personality development programmes to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

On Wednesday, 23rd Jestha, a comprehensive session on classroom management and dealing with students' behaviour was conducted for the teachers. The session commenced with an interactive idea-sharing segment, allowing teachers to exchange insights and experiences.

The key topics covered during the session included classroom management, differentiated instruction, students' behaviour management, inclusiveness, and creating an inclusive classroom environment. Additionally, the importance of emotional intelligence in teaching was emphasised, highlighting the role of empathy and emotional awareness in fostering strong teacher-student relationships.

A significant highlight of the session was the role plays conducted by the teachers. These role plays addressed various classroom issues, providing practical scenarios for teachers to practice and refine their management strategies.

The session was expertly led by Ms. Kavita Thapa, the school counsellor, whose insights and guidance were invaluable. The training proved to be a rewarding experience, equipping our teachers with essential tools and techniques to create a positive and effective learning environment for our students.
